Today people complain about being “time poor”. But at Franchise Selection we believe that if you don’t take the time to recruit properly, both franchisee and franchisor will end up not just “time poor” but simply plain old “poor”.
So we make sure we take the time to understand our client’s needs from the very beginning. Then we take the time to build an engaging advertising campaign to attract the highest quality candidates for the opportunity. From here each applicant is taken through a extensive 6 week interview process which allows us to educate the candidate fully about the opportunity, investigate the candidate’s experience background and qualifications, provide the candidate with all the legal documentation required under the franchise code and assist the candidate through the due diligence process dealing with lawyers solicitors and bankers.
Once the candidate has successfully completed this rigorous process they are then, and only then introduced to the franchisor for a final interview and final approval from the franchise owner.
This successful process just goes to show that ‘all good things take time’.
As an additional step in the franchisee recruitment process we also offer various profiling tools. Available on request the benefits of profiling lie in the conviction that past behavior sometimes dictates future behavior. Indeed this powerful tool works best when a franchisor has many franchisees’s in their system and can cross match the results against the strongest and weakest performers in their system.
Recruitment Training is another service we offer that is popular with smaller firms or to franchisors who wish to maintain their recruitment of their franchisee in-house. Though tapping into our systems and process's these clients can tailor our world’s best practice to suit their individual needs. Complementing this service we also offer coaching and mentoring training through our one on one staff sessions.
Franchisee screening is a powerful service which helps our clients better understand their existing franchisee’s through franchise profiling. By conducting interviews with all the franchisee’s we can unlock the profile of the most likely candidate to succeed within the business. Among other things screening also assists in uncovering problems in the company that could affect the company’s culture such as the franchisee feeling that they lack the tools and/or support of the franchisor.
