The Darriwill Farm story began when Dougal and Nellie Ramsay purchased the Darriwill Homestead in 1994.

The Homestead is a historic property on the junction of the Moorabool River and Sutherlands Creek in the Geelong (VIC.) area. Built in 1856, the bluestone homestead was set up as a vineyard and grazing property.

This tradition continues today with the Ramsays planting many native tree species around a large lake built on the Northern side of the original farm buildings.

They have set out on a journey to create a chain of retail stores that embraces all the lost qualities of the traditional Australian country store.
